Beginnings

In early 2001, just after completing his graduate work in Psychology, New Mind founder and lead developer, Noah Cutler, began developing and hosting websites. At the time, the easiest way to quickly get a client site online was to signup with one of the myriad reseller programs offered by various corporate hosting outfits. While the reseller hosting model was useful for a period, after a couple of years and several hundred hours diving into the LAMP world (Linux-Apache-MySQL-PHP), working in a shared hosting environment became far too restrictive. Enter SagoNetworks.

Dedicated Servers

In 2003 the switch was made to a dedicated server environment in SagoNetworks state-of-the-art 82,000 sq. ft. hosting facility located in Tampa, Florida. The new dedicated server environment laid the groundwork for several breakthrough applications created by New Mind Development, most notably New Mind Tools, a web based Content Management System (CMS) employed in all New Mind developed sites.
